100 swingers to enjoy cowboy-themed sex party in Brecon Beacons

More than 100 swingers have signed up for a cowboy-themed sex party in the Brecon Beacons in Wales.

The two-day event, to be held on 4 and 5 July, will take place at the Clyngwyn Bunkhouse near the Ystradfellte waterfalls.

The event has reportedly been set up by a couple who are plugging it on a swingers' website.

According to the Daily Mail, a couple calling themselves "Fire and Ice", but also known as Ally and Steve, wrote: "We have been on the scene for a while but are by no means hardened swingers.

"We enjoy the social side just as much as anything else."

Partygoers have been excitedly discussing their outfits online, with one writing: "Sounds like you guys need a sheriff to oversee matters. Luckily for you, I know one."

But one local resident told Wales Online that she was "disgusted", saying: "It is despicable that people should parade their sexual escapades in the open, the venue is easily accessible to all kinds of hikers even children, and indeed the venue is used as a hiking hostel for youths on occasion."

She said the group have even hired a photographer to capture the sexcapades: "He is photographing the naked jelly and custard wrestling and selling the photographs.

"It makes one's mind boggle really."

But while some eyebrows are being raised, one local councillor said he welcomed the tourists. Glynneath councillor Eddie Jones told the South Wales Evening Post: "Anything that brings people to my area is to be welcomed.

"I wouldn't want them running down the middle of the street doing anything, amusing as that might be.

"But each to their own I suppose. I'm not a prude by any means."

The Clyngwyn bunkhouse is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park has has 19 beds and camping facilities on three acres of land.

Owner Julie Hurst said: "I just rent my bunkhouse out, I don't know what they are doing."
