Russian base jumper Valery Rozov has just jumped off of the highest mountain in the world. A legend or a lunatic, either way this breathtaking video of his ascent and significantly speedy plummet will help you experience each breathtaking second of his adrenalin-fuelled jump.

Hot on the heels of the news that an 80 year-old has set the record for being the oldest person to climb Mount Everest, Rozov threw himself off the Himalayan mountain breaking the world record for highest base jump.

He landed safely in the snow on the Rongbuk Glacier at about 19,521 feet of altitude.
