Video: Skier's party trick fail goes viral

A video of a skier falling over as he tries to open a gas canister at an après-ski party in France has become an internet hit.

The video posted on YouTube shows the reveller attempting to spray the crowd during a party in French ski resort Val Thorens but the party trick backfires when he is overpowered by the canister's high pressure and ends up being thrown to the ground.

The man gets up moments later to turn off the canister and luckily no-one appears to be injured.

More than 21,000 people have viewed the video which was filmed during Dutch Week, when thousands of Dutch skiers hit the resort.
