The horrifying moment a two-year-old girl was thrown through the back window of a car and into the path of an oncoming truck has been caught on camera.

The footage shows her parents' Mitsubishi skid across both lanes on an icy Moscow road before colliding with a truck, the back window popping and the girl being thrown onto the road upon impact.

Miraculously, the girl only suffered cuts and bruises to the head, and was taken to CRH Lyskovo Hospital for treatment.

The accident happened on Sunday night, and is another example of how dangerous driving on roads in Russia can be.

According to the Daily Mail, more and more motorists are using dashboards cameras to capture any incidents like this for insurance purposes.
