A man has caught what some are claiming to be a possible Big Foot sighting while on a camping trip in Utah.

Beard Card was camping with his siblings in Provo Canyon when he started filming what he thought was a black bear through the trees.

That was until the large creature stood up on its back legs like a human.

Mr Card was so terrified, he bolted without getting further footage of the "creature".

According to grindtv.com, he said: "We ran straight to the car after that, leaving our tent and everything behind. It's probably all still up there."

Mr Card chatted to Fox 13 about the encounter, saying: "We had actually been standing there for awhile. We had thought it was a bear up to that point but when it stood up and looked at us it was just massive animal.

"We don't know what it was. I mean none of us really believe in Bigfoot but we've talked about it over and over again since then. It happened on Monday and all of us are positive that thing wasn't a bear."

He said the animal turned and stared at them, and described it as a "strong, scary presence".

Mr Card added: "I don't know if Big Foot exists or not, but that thing wasn't a bear."

Of course, there are a number of people suggesting the video is a hoax or a prank, which Mr Card denies.
