Tender tiger: Moment beautiful Bengal 'holds hands' with toddler

A photographer on a day out to the zoo snapped a heart-melting picture of a Golden Bengal Tiger's tender moment with a toddler this weekend.

Dyrk Daniels headed to top tourist attraction Cougar Mountain Zoo in Issaquah, Washington, to photograph the animals, but thought he'd let the families and children at the enclosure take a look before he started snapping.

But when he noticed the tiger stretching his paw out towards the little girl, and rubbing his head over the spot where her face was, Dyrk couldn't resist taking a pic or two.

According to the Daily Mail, he said: 'I could not believe my eyes when Taj approached the girl, bowed his head and then placed his huge right paw exactly in front of where the little girl's left hand was.

'It was incredible to watch. I have never seen such tenderness from such a large predator.'
