Airport bliss! Heathrow launches Britain's first airside bedrooms

Updated

Passengers with a couple of hours to spare at Heathrow's Terminal Three can now book into an airside 'bedroom' and grab a few hours' peace and quiet far from the hustle and bustle of the airport throng.

Airport hospitality specialist No.1 Traveller, which launched Terminal Three's Super Lounge earlier this year, has just opened the doors to its latest offering to passengers in need of a little TLC.

Accessible to all travellers departing from and transferring through Terminal Three, the 12 ensuite cabin-style soundproofed rooms come complete with showers, mini-bar, free internet access and phone, room service, onscreen entertainment and optional infant cot.

Bedrooms cost £20 for a single or £30 for a twin per hour. Current airport restrictions mean bedrooms can't be booked for a full night's stay, but they're open between the hours of 4.30am and 10.30pm.
