Seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been recalled to India's squad for the three remaining home Tests against England.
Virat Kohli's side moved 1-0 up in the five-Test series on Monday with a comprehensive 246-run victory in Visakhapatnam.
Twenty-four hours on from that success, the BCCI announced a 16-man squad for the rest of the series - Bhuvneshwar coming in at the expense of opening batsman Gautam Gambhir, who made 29 and nought in his sole appearance in Rajkot.
Gambhir was replaced by KL Rahul for the second Test and is now omitted altogether, while there is also no place for fellow opener Shikhar Dhawan, despite his recovery from a thumb injury.
Bhuvneshwar, meanwhile, is back in contention after proving his match fitness in domestic cricket following a spell on the sidelines with a back strain.
The 26-year-old has taken 41 wickets in 15 Tests for India and provides an additional pace-bowling option ahead of the third Test at Mohali, which starts on Saturday.
India: Virat Kohli (captain), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Amit Mishra, Karun Nair, Hardik Pandya, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, KL Rahul, Wriddhiman Saha, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Murali Vijay, Jayant Yadav, Umesh Yadav.
