As one of the most famous sportspeople on the planet, Rory McIlroy is no stranger to media questioning, but the four-time major champion faced perhaps the toughest interview of his career in Dubai this week.
On the eve of his World Tour Championship, Dubai defence, McIlroy sat down for a one-on-one - filmed by the European Tour - with a young 'reporter' named Billy.
After initially making fun of some of McIlroy's previous hairstyles, the cheeky child decided he would really make the Northern Irishman squirm, making reference to his past relationship with Caroline Wozniacki by asking: "I know Andy Murray's a good mate of yours, but who's your favourite girl tennis player?"
A laughing McIlroy initially appeared lost for words before replying: "Honestly, Billy, I've stopped following women's tennis, the last couple of years."
"Maybe a good call," said the youngster, who went on to have fun at Tiger Woods' expense in the following exchange.
Billy: "Can you put a good word in for me with Tiger? I'm going after him next,"
Rory: "Yeah, I'll put in a good word for you - I'd love to see you interview Tiger. I'd love to see that.
Billy: "If I meet him, what should I ask him for? Career advice or chat-up lines.
Rory: "Chat-up lines. He's been pretty successful in both areas, I don't see any reason why you couldn't ask him both questions."
