Conor McGregor doesn't think much of Floyd Mayweather calling him an ant

Updated:

One thing is becoming increasing clear: Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather don't like each other very much.

The Notorious was asked by TMZ what he thought of the boxer comparing him to an ant, and - predictably - he didn't think much of it at all.

Now, we're not saying that TMZ is deliberately attempting to stir things up, but this clip came after a reporter from the site told the five-division champion that McGregor was "the Floyd Mayweather of the UFC".

"Never compare Conor McGregor to me, it's total disrespect," Mayweather said. "I'm an elephant, elephant don't beef with ants. Elephant is so large, he don't even see ants."

Speaking of disrespect, Mayweather suggested he hadn't even bothered to watch McGregor's latest fight, when he became the first fighter to hold two UFC belts simultaneously with a second-round knockout of Eddie Alvarez.

Maybe Money's just not a big MMA fan.

Whatever, it just makes us want to see them get into a ring, or an octagon, or even a hexagon, together as soon as possible.
