The spectators at the Nedbank Golf Challenge know not to venture onto the playing area, but nobody told this pack of mongooses.
Fans at the European Tour event in Sun City, South Africa were treated to an unfamiliar scene as a group of around 20 mongooses invaded one of the greens.
Somehow, though, they managed to avoid interfering with the ball and leaving a potentially difficult lie.
They are not the only goose at the tournament, with home hope Retief Goosen bidding to win the title, though Chile's Felipe Aguilar was the early clubhouse leader at four under after the first 18 holes.
