Manly Sea Eagles signed Wests Tigers back-rower Curtis Sironen on a two-year deal.
Sironen, 23, played 65 NRL games for the Tigers after making his debut for the club in 2012.
Sea Eagles coach Trent Barrett was thrilled with the signing of Sironen, who made eight appearances for the Tigers in 2016.
"He is an experienced player, Curtis. He is a big edge back-rower with plenty of ability," he said.
"Curtis can play through the line, before the line, and he has got a kicking game.
"He is what we were looking for and we were really fortunate that this opportunity to secure him came about late."
Sea Eagles finished 13th in the table in 2016 with just eight wins from 24 games.
