The Columbus Blue Jackets thrashed the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL as Brandon Tanev delivered at the right time for the Winnipeg Jets.
The Blue Jackets crushed the Canadiens 10-0 in an incredible game at Nationwide Arena on Friday.
Tanev's first NHL goals came at the perfect time for the Jets as they rallied past the Detroit Red Wings.
The Anaheim Ducks were also victorious, beating the Arizona Coyotes 5-1.
The Blue Jackets set a team record for goals in a game and margin of victory with their win over the Canadiens.
The Canadiens' eight-match winning streak came to an end in embarrassing fashion.
Cam Atkinson, Josh Anderson, Scott Hartnell and Nick Foligno each scored twice.
Canadiens goaltender Al Montoya conceded all 10 goals on 40 shots.
With the Jets trailing 3-2, Tanev found the perfect time for his first NHL goals in a 5-3 victory over the Red Wings.
He tied the game and then put his team ahead with one minute, 16 seconds remaining.
Nikolaj Ehlers had a goal and three assists for the Jets.
