Oldenburg and Kataja claimed dramatic overtime Basketball Champions League victories at the expense of Rosa Radom and Le Mans respectively on Wednesday.
Rosa appeared to be heading for a second Group C victory out of three when they led 52-38 at the start of the fourth quarter, but the German side came roaring back to prolong the match by levelling at 59-59.
Oldenburg maintained their momentum to seal a 70-66 victory on the road, with Frantz Massenat's three-pointer putting them ahead and Rosa Radom unable to claw their way back.
Kataja ended Le Mans' perfect start, edging a tense 77-76 victory to get up and running in Group B.
Le Mans led 76-74 with only four seconds to play in the extra period, but Daniel Mullings was on target with a lay-up and with the free throw after he was fouled to put Kataja in front.
The Finnish side were able to revel in a stunning win after Le Mans failed to come up with a response at the other end.
Banvit made it three wins out of three in Group A by seeing off previously unbeaten Czech champions CEZ Nymburk 75-69, Gediminas Orelik starring with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds.
Neptunas Klaipeda top Group C with a 100 per cent record following their 81-67 success over French champions ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne, while Frankfurt, Aris, Khimik Yuzhny and Mornar Bar recorded wins.
Usak Sportif, Ludwigsburg and Dinamo Sassari were also victorious.
