Jose Mourinho endured a torrid return to Stamford Bridge on Sunday as Chelsea hammered Manchester United 4-0 in the Premier League.
But could it have been worse?
They're pretty rare, but we've assembled a list of five of Manchester United's heaviest Premier League defeats.
Manchester United 1 Manchester City 6
October 23, 2011
The first time United had leaked six goals at Old Trafford since 1930, this was their heaviest home defeat for 56 years.
Mario Balotelli started the rout with his goal and trademark "Why always me?" t-shirt celebration, before City netted five second half goals to go five points clear at the top of the league.
Newcastle 5 Manchester United 0
October 20, 1996
Newcastle gained some revenge over United here, having lost the title to Sir Alex Ferguson's men in heartbreaking fashion the season before.
Goals from David Peacock and David Ginola made it 2-0 at the break, and Newcastle only continued in the second half, with Les Ferdinand and Alan Shearer scoring before Philippe Albert's sumptuous chip made it five.
Chelsea 5 Manchester United 0
October 3, 1999
Chelsea ended United's 29-game unbeaten run in some style, with Gus Poyet on the score sheet after just 27 seconds.
And after Chris Sutton had doubled the Blues' lead, Nicky Butt foolishly got himself sent off for kicking out at Dennis Wise right under the referee's nose. Chelsea scored another three goals.
Southampton 6 Manchester United 3
October 26, 1996
Egil Ostenstad fired a hat-trick, Roy Keane was sent off and Matt Le Tissier chipped Peter Schmeichel. Southampton were only leading 3-2 with 80 minutes gone, but 7 minutes later the score was 6-3 and the Saints had sealed a famous win.
Arguably more humiliating than United's 3-1 defeat at The Dell that Sir Alex Ferguson blamed on the side's grey kit.
Manchester United 1 Liverpool 4
March 14, 2009
In one of Liverpool's nearest title run-ins yet, Fernando Torres ran riot with Steven Gerrard, Fabio Aurelio and Andrea Dossena also on target as Rafael Benitez got one up on Ferguson.
Despite this home humbling, United still progressed to take the title.
