Ravichandran Ashwin has returned to the top of Test cricket's bowling rankings after helping India whitewash New Zealand.
Off-spinner Ashwin took 27 wickets at 17.77 in the three-match series, taking his career tally in the longest format to 220 in 39 Tests.
A seven-for for Ashwin on Tuesday wrapped up the third and final Test, and helped the 30-year-old to career-best match figures of 13-140.
Ashwin has twice previously topped the rankings, although he has reached an impressive rating of 900 in the ICC's list - another career high.
India also returned to number one in the team Test rankings during the series, overtaking neighbouring rivals Pakistan.
They will attempt to tighten their grip on red-ball cricket when England visit for five Tests starting next month.
