Conor McGregor's bottle-throwing exploits prior to UFC 202 will cost the Irish mixed martial arts fighter $150,000.
The Nevada Athletic Commission imposed the fine on Monday. The amount is five percent of McGregor's $3million purse from the blockbuster event against Nate Diaz, which the former won via a points decision in August.
Undisputed UFC featherweight champion McGregor and Diaz instigated a pre-fight quasi-melee at the Las Vegas MGM Grand, following initial verbal taunts before bottles were thrown.
In addition to the hefty fine, McGregor must also serve 50 hours of community service and participate in an anti-bullying program.

McGregor - who is preparing to face Eddie Alvarez in a lightweight championship bout at UFC 205 in New York on November 12 - later used social media to react to his fine, writing on Twitter: "I get fined more than these bums get paid".
Diaz's punishment is expected to be announced next month.
