Sonny Bill Williams is getting his skates on as he steps up his recovery from a serious injury that brought his Olympics to a premature end.
The New Zealand centre suffered a partial rupture of his Achilles representing his country in the sevens in Rio last month, ruling him out for up to nine months.
Williams has demonstrated his adaptability by forging a successful career in both rugby league and union.
And the 31-year-old powerhouse has now taken to using a skateboard and a rowing machine at the same time as he steps up his recuperation.
Williams strapped the moon boot on his left foot to the skateboard to enable him to use the machine, later posting a clip on Twitter stating: "Where there's a will, there's a way."
