Vincent Koch replaces the injured Julian Redelinghuys in Allister Coetzee's only change to South Africa's starting XV for the Rugby Championship match against Argentina on Saturday.
Redelinghuys sustained a hamstring injury in the first half of last weekend's dramatic 30-23 victory over the Pumas at the Mbombela Stadium and has been ruled out for six weeks.
Koch replaced the prop for the remainder of that match and will assume his place in the line-up for the fixture in Salta, where he will earn his fourth Test cap.
Lourens Adriaanse is named among the replacements as one of the two back-up props, while the experienced Morne Steyn returns to the bench in place of Juan de Jongh.
Coetzee hopes the lack of changes to the team can help maintain the momentum built from their opening win.
"Vincent did very well when he came on as a replacement for Julian in Nelspruit and he is rewarded with a starting berth, while we believe it would be good to give Lourens an opportunity on the bench at this stage," said Coetzee.
"We expect them to try and put us under pressure with their tactical kicking. Morne is an experienced player with good kicking attributes, and he will provide an additional kicking cover for us.
"We will continue to build on our cohesion as a team. This is the first away Test for this side and we expect another huge battle against the Pumas."
