Wigan Warriors cruised to a 25-0 Super League victory over St Helens on Friday, completing a first shutout against their local rivals since 1989.
Anthony Gelling crossed twice in the first half as Wigan opened up a 12-0 lead, before completing his hat-trick 25 minutes into the second period.
George Williams wrapped up the win when he went over in the closing stages, with Matty Smith - a rumoured Saints transfer target - taking his tally to nine points with the boot.

Both regular-season matches between the sides had ended in away victories, but Wigan broke that trend in emphatic fashion to move two points behind Super 8s leaders Hull FC and stand on the brink of play-off qualification.
In the day's Qualifiers clash, Hull KR built on a strong first-half showing to claim a 29-12 win at Salford Red Devils, Josh Mantellato scoring 10 points in the first 16 minutes.
Rovers climb to second in the standings, while Salford remain in the drop zone after three matches.
