Rio 2016: Lin makes history with ace

Lin Xiyu made history on Friday by becoming the first woman to make a hole in one in the Olympics.

The Chinese is a long way down the leaderboard in Rio, but the 20-year-old enjoyed a moment she will never forget when she carded an ace at the par-three eighth during the third round.

Justin Rose made the first Olympic hole in one during the men's competition last week and went on to win the tournament.

South Korea's Inbee Park held a one-shot lead on 10 under at the halfway mark in the tournament after signing for back-to-back rounds of 66.
