England bowler Steven Finn will be sidelined for approximately four weeks due to a hamstring tear.
Finn, 27, suffered the injury during the 10-wicket fourth Test loss to Pakistan at The Oval last week.
The fast bowler was omitted from England's squad for the five-match one-day international series against Mickey Arthur's tourists, which starts at The Rose Bowl in Southampton next Wednesday.
"Steven Finn has sustained a left hamstring tear," the ECB said in a statement.
"He is anticipated to be available in approximately four weeks.
"He will start a rehabilitation programme with Middlesex and England, and is aiming to play a part in Middlesex's Championship campaign in September."
