Becky James added another medal to the British cycling team's collection by coming from behind in the kerin to win a silver.
The 24-year-old spent the vast majority of the solo race towards the back of the pack, but made a late surge for the finish line on the final bend to earn a podium place behind Elis Ligtlee of the Netherlands.
Her sprint to the line came out of nowhere.

It marks a remarkable recovery for the Abergavenny-born cyclist after recovering from a career-threatening knee injury and a had treatment for cervical cancer.
Two years ago thought James thought she might not ride a bike again, so her achievement left everyone in awe. And a tad emotional.

Most nights I've had moist eyes but actual tears for Becky James, an injury so bad she may never have ridden again, but never gave up,
