Poland beat Great Britain for gold in thrilling women's double sculls

The Polish rowing team very narrowly beat Team GB to a gold medal in the women's double sculls.

The race was a very close one and for a while it really looked like GB's Katherine Grainger and Vicky Thornley were going to row their way to a gold.

But in the end, it was Poland who were successful in bagging the victory.

Some people were sad.

But everyone agreed that silver was still a great result.

Well done girls!
