Rio 2016: Choppy waters and wind delay Olympic rowers

Day two of the Olympic Games saw the rowing events delayed by hours due to high winds and choppy waters in Rio.

The men's single sculls repechage had been set to get the second day of action started, but the weather in the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon made the course impossible to use.

Women's single sculls and the men's coxless pair were also delayed by the conditions.
