Fouad Yaha scored a second-half hat-trick as Catalans Dragons claimed a 26-10 victory in the Super League Super 8s.
Tries from Jodie Broughton and Justin Horo gave the Dragons a 10-0 lead at the interval and winger Yaha made sure of a comfortable win with a superb second 40.
Matt Whitley cut the gap to 10-6 as he pounced on Kevin Brown's kick, only for Yaha to re-establish the 10-point advantage after a Corey Thompson error from the restart gave Catalans a scrum deep in Vikings territory.
Yaha then went over for his double after a Thomas Bosc kick found him in space and completed the treble 12 minutes from time, with Patrick Ah Van's late effort no more than a consolation for Widnes.
Meanwhile in the Qualifiers, soon to be deposed champions Leeds Rhinos hammered Championship side Featherstone Rovers 62-6 as they bid to avoid relegation.
Kallum Watkins crossed for four tries, while Joel Moon and Liam Sutcliffe - who also kicked nine conversions - scored doubles.
Championship winners Leigh Centurions held off a late fightback to claim a 34-30 victory over London Broncos in the other middle-eight clash.
