The men's gymnastics qualification round did NOT go to plan for France's Samir Ait Said who suffered a shocking broken leg as he landed badly on the vault.
His left leg folded beneath him and was literally flopping around loosely in scenes that might make you feel a little bit queasy.
Almost threw up looking at Samir Ait Said. I hope he's okay, though.

The 26-year-old was seen by medics and he managed to raise one arm to the crowd to acknowledge their cheers before being carried off in a stretcher and taken to hospital where the damage is being assessed.
He's getting lots of love on Twitter - including from the official Rio committee.
@samiraitsaid1 wishing you a speedy and complete recovery!

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to watch a vault landing ever again. Really hope #SamirAitSaid receives the best treatment the world has!
