Will Genia has been named in Australia's 33-man squad for the upcoming Rugby Championship, it was announced on Friday.
The 28-year-old Genia, who plays for Stade Francais in Paris, was named despite having not played rugby since January after injuring his knee.
Genia is one of five European-based Wallabies in the squad alongside Quade Cooper, Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and Adam Ashley-Cooper.
Cooper, however, is returning to Australia for good after a brief stint with Toulon, having signed on with Queensland Reds for the 2017 Super Rugby campaign.
Wallabies coach Michael Chieka also retained all four uncapped players included in his initial train-on squad - Allan Ala'alatoa, Reece Hodge, Tom Robertson and Lopeti Timani - in the final 33-man squad ahead of the four-nation tournament.
Lock Kane Douglas is in the squad for the first time in 2016, having returned from a knee reconstruction, while Rob Simmons has also made his way back from a shoulder injury which cut short his Super Rugby season.
However, Kurtley Beale, Rory Arnold and Joe Tomane were not considered for the squad because of injury.
Defending champions Australia begin the Rugby Championship against New Zealand in the Bledisloe Cup clash in Sydney on August 20.
