Rory McIlroy is going to need a new three wood.
The Northern Irishman endured a frustrating round at the Open Championship on Saturday and, with his hopes of victory decreasing, he showed his frustrations when he flung his club down the 16th fairway and saw it snap in two.

It was a moment that every amateur golfer can relate to - although, for the record McIlroy did actually manage to par the hole!
His hopes of winning at Royal Troon were, however, all but ended as he fired a two-over round of 73 - his worst round of the tournament so far - to be level-par.
McIlroy has form for throwing his clubs, having launched his three iron into a lake at Doral during the WGC-Cadillac Championship in March last year - for which he told Press Association Sport he was fined £3,700, having escaped a greater sanction after apologising.
At the US Open in 2013 he also apologised for throwing one club and leaning so hard on another during the final round that he bent the shaft out of shape.
