Defending champion Serena Williams put on a Centre Court exhibition for The Duchess, who sparkled in a yellow dress alongside other famous faces on a glorious day at the All England Club.
The world number one took only 48 minutes to dismantle Elena Vesnina 6-2 6-0 and move just one victory away from equalling Steffi Graf's Open-Era record of 22 major titles.
Australian Open champion Kerber reached her first Wimbledon final by seeing off Serena's sister, Venus, 6-4 6-4 and the German turned her attention to watching her compatriots take on hosts France in the last four of the European Championship.

Serena added insult to injury by combining with Venus to beat Vesnina again in the women's doubles quarter-finals later in the day.

Kerber downed Venus with a clinical display and can now look forward to facing Serena in another showdown this weekend.
