If England fans didn't think they could feel any worse about the shock defeat to Iceland then France found a way to remind them how badly they played last week.
Iceland's dream tournament peaked with their 2-1 win over Roy Hodgson's boys, but they would go no further as the French ruthlessly cast aside the tournament debutants 5-2.
The match was over by half-time, when France led 4-0, and as every England fan wondered just how Iceland managed to pull off that last-16 win Gary Lineker pushed send on a tweet dripping with sarcasm to sum up what everyone was thining.
Lord Sugar went for a more direct approach...
Rio Ferdinand wasn't too enthused either.
Other England fans were just happy not to be on the end of a very impressive France performance.
By the time the second half rolled around, and with the game over, the focus fell on Iceland and their stunning run to the last-eight.
The island nation had defied expectations just to get to France - they beat Holland in qualifying - before embarking on a run that has been just as memorable for the endearing link between the players and their fans - underlined by that 'Huh' celebration.
They will be missed.
