Whiteside set for Heat stay, Lin joins Nets

As NBA free agency continues to rumble on, the Miami Heat have been boosted by solid commitment from Hassan Whiteside, while Jeremy Lin has joined the Brooklyn Nets.

Whiteside took to Snapchat to confirm he would stay on with the Heat.

The NBA blocks leader uploaded a video to his Snapchat story in which someone off camera asked him where he would sign.

In typical Whiteside fashion, he replied "Miami", before Will Smith's famous track of the same name started playing as the centre walked away.

Additionally, he wrote on The Players' Tribune: "I just wanted to take this time to tell all the fans how much you mean to this team, and to me.

"Can't wait to get back to work and try to bring another championship to Miami."

Meanwhile, Lim was looking for an "NBA home" and landed at the Brooklyn Nets.
