England reveal Bennett's first group

The Rugby Football League (RFL) has revealed the names of 31 Super League players who met up with new national coach Wayne Bennett during the Australian's visit to England.

Ten uncapped players were among those invited to a get-together by Bennett, who will take charge of his first games when England face Australia, New Zealand and Scotland in the end-of-season Four Nations tournament.

Among the new faces were Marc Sneyd and Scott Taylor, two of the stars of Hull FC's surge to the top of the Super League table.

Four St Helens players - Alex Walmsley, Kyle Amor, Mark Percival and Joe Greenwood - would appear to be in contention for maiden caps, while Ben Currie (Warrington Wolves), Dom Manfredi (Wigan Warriors) and Luke Gale (Castleford Tigers) were also included along with Leeds Rhinos' Stevie Ward, who has yet to play this season as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury.

While the 31 players called up will be hopeful of featuring in the Four Nations, they will know any England squad of Bennett's will feature a host of players from the NRL, with the likes of Sam Burgess, James Graham and Gareth Widdop all plying their trade in Australia.
