Jason Day's candid comments about his kids may have just landed him in (hot) water - not a place anyone wants to be, particularly a golfer.
The 28-year-old Australian was speaking to press ahead of the US Open in Oakmont when he was asked about his son Dash starring in a TV advert.
But Day, rather than coo over his kid, decided instead to talk about his size and gave a rather unexpected reason for it - one which his wife Ellie probably won't have been thrilled with.
The US PGA champion said: "He's only three and people forget he's three. He's a humongous toddler. He's very big."
It gets worse. He then added: "And you should see Lucy, she's even bigger. She's a fatty.
"Ellie, I think she has protein shakes in those things. I don't know what she's doing. For some reason, she's a very, very big baby. I don't know how other people have real tiny babies.
"But anyways, I'm off point now. I can't remember what I was going to say."
Talk about going off on a (mildly offensive) tangent.
Although judging by Ellie's Twitter account, she seems to have seen the funny side.
We can only imagine.
