Fans are very surprised about Northern Ireland's national anthem - and have a great suggestion for an alternative

As the players from Northern Ireland and Poland lined up on the pitch ahead of their Euro 2016 opening game, the announcement came to sing the national anthem.

And, much to the surprise of a startling amount of viewers, the song for Northern Ireland is God Save The Queen - just like it is for England.

That realisation got many cogs ticking as fans asked the all-important question: What happens when Northern Ireland play England?!

Some people thought if both teams sang it together, it would be epic.

Whereas others thought the viral sensation that is 'Will Grigg's on fire' would be a much better fit.

Could this song be the answer to all the Euro's problems?

We can hope.
