Doubt has been raised over Stephen Curry's participation in the 2016 Olympic Games, with a report in the United States claiming the NBA MVP will skip the event to rest his troublesome right knee.
According to the San Jose Mercury News, Curry has already informed USA Basketball he will not be involved in Rio.
The Golden State Warriors star has been battling knee issues since falling during Game 4 of the playoff series against the Houston Rockets.
Curry missed the rest of the series and part of the second playoff round versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
However, he went on to feature in every match of the Western Conference Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder, as the Warriors came from 3-1 behind to triumph 4-3.
And Curry has also featured in the first two games of the NBA Finals, helping reigning champions Golden State open up a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
