New Zealand hooker Dane Coles labelled boxing great Muhammad Ali as "one of the best trash talkers" of all time.
Ali passed away on Friday aged 74 following a lengthy battle with Parkinson's disease, with septic shock named as the official cause of death.
The tributes have flowed for the three-time world heavyweight champion since then, remembered for his work in and out of the ring.
Coles joined the group and offered a different perspective of Ali, saying he was one of the best talkers in sport.
"He was definitely one of the originals, I think, and probably one of the best trash talkers," he told a news conference.
Coles added: "He had a natural gift for that and that's why everyone was so entertained because he kept people engaged and on the edge of their seats.
"Watching some of that stuff was pretty cool."
Charlie Faumuina was also full of praise for Ali and said reflecting had given him further insight.
"Watching some of his fights, especially now that he's passed on, just seeing some of the replays of some of his big boxing matches and to see the type of man he was and how he carried himself is pretty cool to see," the All Blacks prop said.
