Roy Hodgson was completely mugged off when he went for a high five at the Great Manchester Run

It's a big day for Roy Hodgson. His England squad face Turkey later in a friendly ahead of the Euros AND he officially opened the Great Manchester Run.

A massive 35,000 people took part in the 10k run and Roy's job was to sound the horn to start the elite men's race.

But as the athletes set off, one runner went in for a high five with the England manger - and then appeared to leave him hanging at the last second.

Let's hope the England result is less embarrassing.
