The ink had barely dried on the press release to confirm Roberto Martinez's exit as Everton boss before Frank De Boer was being touted as his replacement.
De Boer is the early bookies favourite after stepping down as Ajax boss on Thursday and he is certainly a popular choice among Toffees' fans.
De Boer's brother, Ronald, touted Frank as an ideal candidate for Goodison Park moments after the news dropped, which excited Everton supporters further.
Although some of them got the wrong De Boer.
The general feeling on Twitter was that the time had come for Martinez to go after a three-year spell that saw results start to dwindle - including just five home league wins this season.
And while most fans were happy to see Martinez leave, there was hardly any bitterness towards him.
