Jack Wilshere was relentlessly trolled during an ESPN Twitter Q&A

When ESPN invited football fans to share questions they had for Arsenal's Jack Wilshere, they probably weren't expecting the request to backfire quite like it did.

The sports network were preparing for an upcoming interview with the England and Arsenal midfielder and were met with some hardcore trolling.

There was mention of the upcoming Euro 2016 and whether Wilshere will be featured in Roy Hodgson's 23-man squad, which is yet to be announced.

Of course, the 24-year-old's susceptibility to injury was also the topic of conversation.

He only returned to the pitch in April after suffering a hairline crack in his calf bone last August.

Dele Alli's name was dotted throughout #AskJackWilshere, and it came as no surprise.

Throughout the season the Tottenham midfielder - who was voted the PFA Young Player of the Year - has constantly been compared to Wilshere.
