Former Netherlands international Patrick Kluivert will make his return to boyhood club Ajax after being appointed the club's new youth coach.
Kluivert joined the Ajax youth academy as a seven-year-old, going on to make his professional debut with the Eredivisie club at the age of 18.
The forward spent three seasons in the first team, winning two Eredivisie titles and a UEFA Champions League among other trophies.
Kluivert went on to join AC Milan in 1997, followed by stints at Barcelona, Newcastle United, Valencia, PSV and Lille.
Since ending his player career in 2008, Kluivert has taken up assistant coaching roles with AZ Alkmaar, NEC, and the Netherlands national team.
In March 2015 the 39-year-old become manager of the Curacao national football team, before being offered a coaching job with Ajax.
Kluivert will take charge of the Ajax under-19 squad on a two-year deal, while John Heitinga and Richard Knopper will also be part of a restructured academy.
