You've got to hand it to Mauricio Pochettino, he really knows how to raise the spirits of Tottenham fans.
Spurs have hardly been in the mood for celebrating following a week in which their title hopes looked to have ended - following a 1-1 draw with West Brom - but their boss has changed all that after announcing he plans to extend his deal until 2021.
So Pochettino has verbally agreed to extend his contract until 2021. Just the news Tottenham fans wanted. The Poch era carries on!

Pen has not yet been put to paper on the deal, but Pochettino's announcement that a verbal agreement has been made with the club is a certain sign of his commitment.
There had been rumours the Argentine was on the radar of other Premier League clubs, most significantly Manchester United, but such talk has now effectively been ended.
It means Spurs can look forward to a summer free from speculation.

Pochettino extending his contract. Bad day for those Man U fans with a large sense of self-entitlement.

With Pochettino's position secured and talk still circulating that Manchester United will replace Louis van Gaal in the summer, that led to the inevitable conclusion.
Everyone thinks the 'Special One' is coming back to the Premier League. Again.
How many times has Jose Mourinho now been confirmed as Manchester United's manager? Seems like every two days since Christmas.
