After 84 minutes of Arsenal's goalless Premier League draw with Sunderland, a familiar face finally made a reappearance.
Jack Wilshere stepped off the bench to replace Mesut Ozil, making his first appearance of the season.

Or possibly this...
What odds on a Wilshere injury?
-- phil . i . am (@AngryOfN5) April 24, 2016
In fact, he did pretty much nothing as the match finished goalless, beyond look in a fairly indefinable way like he had a touch of class about him.
And that was enough for everyone to decide that the midfielder definitely should or definitely shouldn't get into the England team for Euro 2016.
Jack Wilshere is a baller, idc if you support spurs, you cant be english and not want him in the England side
-- Decky (@Deckymch) April 24, 2016
Jack Wilshere has touched the ball!! Get him on the plane Woy!!
-- David Hickman (@DavidHickman87) April 24, 2016
That's Wilshere's place in the England squad confirmed, I imagine. ?

Wilshere confirming his Euro 2016 selection with that 7 minute cameo.
-- West Ham Central (@WestHam_Central) April 24, 2016
Wilshere should be nowhere near the England squad. Always injured, attitude problems, can't play the base of a diamond. #bbcfootball
-- DeathApeDisco (@DeathApeDisco) April 24, 2016
See Wilshere's got himself fit as well. Must be a major tournament on the horizon then.
-- Enough Of That Now (@AndyGilder) April 24, 2016
Jack Wilshere has to go to the Euros, his to much of a good player not to go.???
-- rebecca spencer (@beckyspencer2) April 24, 2016
If Wilshere is picked for the euros, it's an absolute joke.
-- Will Varney (@WillVarney_) April 24, 2016
Whatever the merits of his international claims, Arsenal supporters were pleased to have him back.
Jack Wilshere has done more in 10 mins than what Ramsey has done all game.
-- Indranil (@Indrathegooner) April 24, 2016
That Wilshere burst. No better sight on a football pitch.
-- JJ (@JasAFC) April 24, 2016
Wilshere is an immense talent. We've missed his desire over the course of the season.
-- 1886 (@1886_blog) April 24, 2016
For some Gunners fans, though, it was all just a reminder of the fact that nothing changes.
Wilshere made his debut when we were 4th. Scored his first goal when we were 4th. Got injured when we were 4th. Returned when we are 4th.

The battle for fourth place continues...
