The Golden State Warriors have tied the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls' record for most wins with their 72nd of the regular season.

The Warriors tied the record with a 92-86 win over the San Antonio Spurs as Stephen Curry bucketed 37 points in another awe-inspiring display from the reigning MVP.

Klay Thompson banked 14 points, while LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 for the Spurs, backed up by Kawhi Leonard's 20.

The play-off door remains ajar for the Houston Rockets after their 130-110 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

James Harden double-doubled with 40 points and 13 assists for the Rockets as they fight for their post-season ticket, after the Dallas Mavericks' 98-91 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Indiana Pacers' 129-105 win over the Brooklyn Nets confirmed their play-off spot and spelled the end for the post-season hopes of the Bulls, who were not in action on Sunday.

Myles Turner scored 28 points for the Pacers as they comfortably saw off the Nets.

Elsewhere, the Toronto Raptors had to work for their 93-89 triumph over the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat beat the Orlando Magic 118-96.
