BREAKING NEWS: Willett wins Masters after Spieth sinks at Augusta

Jordan Spieth's astonishing collapse ended his Augusta dominance to hand Danny Willett the Masters and a first major success.

Reigning champion Spieth came into Sunday's play having led after the previous seven rounds in Augusta, but he found water twice at the 12th as a stunning quadruple bogey wrecked his chances.

Willett promptly assumed the lead and took full advantage, becoming the first Briton to claim a green jacket in 20 years, since Nick Faldo took advantage of a Spieth-esque meltdown from Greg Norman to win his third Masters.
