Milan-San Remo diverted after landslide

Saturday's Milan-San Remo course has been hastily changed after a landslide near the coastal town of Arenzano blocked the road.

Heavy boulders were left strewn across the road around 130 kilometres into the longest one-day race of the season, forcing organisers to make amendments.

The peloton will make a nine-kilometre diversion due to the landslide as they join the A10 highway on their way towards San Remo, making the 107th edition of the race 300km long in total.
