Rabbitohs half-back Reynolds sidelined with fractured jaw

South Sydney Rabbitohs half-back Adam Reynolds is facing six weeks on the sidelines after fracturing his jaw.

The Rabbitohs confirmed the severity of Reynolds' injury following scans on Monday, with the 25-year-old due to see a surgeon on Tuesday.

Reynolds was hurt during the Rabbitohs' season-opening 42-10 demolition of Sydney Roosters on Sunday.

The news is another blow for the Rabbitohs, who lost forward John Sutton to a ruptured pectoral muscle for 16 weeks.
