Panathinaikos, Lokomotiv stretch streaks


Panathinaikos and Lokomotiv Kuban continued their winning runs in the Euroleague with comfortable victories on Thursday.

A 76-58 victory over Unicaja saw Panathinaikos claim a fifth straight win as they improved to a 6-3 win-loss record in Group E of the Top 16.

Elliot Williams had a game-high 16 points, while Miroslav Raduljica (12), James Gist (10) and Nick Calathes (10) also hit double figures.

A 26-7 first quarter was crucial for Panathinaikos, with Unicaja unable to recover from their slow start.

Lokomotiv Kuban stretched their winning streak to four games with a 76-61 win against Anadolu Efes.

Malcolm Delaney (19 points) and Anthony Randolph (17) led Lokomotiv to their victory as they moved to 7-2 in Group E.

Khimki ended their three-game losing run with a 75-61 win over Barcelona, while Darussafaka Dogus claimed their first away win of the Top 16 by overcoming Cedevita 83-77.
