PGA Tour veteran Jason Bohn was in "great spirits" Saturday morning, a day after suffering a heart attack at the Honda Classic.
The 42-year-old from the Atlanta area was hospitalised overnight in stable condition at Palm Beach Medical Center. Bohn is scheduled to undergo further tests Saturday.
Tournament officials said Bohn sought medical help following his second round due to chest pains.
But there was positive news of Bohn on Saturday.
The tweet from PGA Tour media account said: "Reports from @JasBohn team; he slept well and is in "great spirits." Further testing will be done this morning."
Bohn has two career wins on Tour, the B.C. Open in 2005 and Zurich Classic of New Orleans in 2010. He's currently ranked No. 71 in the world.
