Paul Gallen is still weighing up his future in the NRL, with the Cronulla Sharks and NSW State of Origin captain set to make a decision in two months time.
Gallen is out of contract at the end of the upcoming season and it remains to be seen whether the 34-year-old will play beyond 2016.
But one thing for certain is that the former Australia international lock has "definitely" not decided to retire just yet.
"I'm just going to see how I go over the first couple of months in the competition," Gallen said on Wednesday.
"I feel great. I love coming to training every day and I still love playing. I just have to see how the body holds up.
"We had a lot going on with the last one. There was a lot of things behind the scenes with what happened to us in previous years that we had to sort out.
"That's all done now, and I think the next one will be a lot simpler. In the first two months, I'll make a decision."
